A systems approach

These set of classes provides a systems approach to the fragments of knowledge I had prior to taking them. They also provide expanded my knowledge on Milky Way photography. I could have save much time and effort if I had taken these classes sooner.

Milky Way Basic Class

So far I think the MW course is great- good material and good detail. I am not sure I will remember how to use the software like Stellarium and Photo Pills without actually trying it but I can always revisit this section of the class. I think Dan does a great job explaining step by step these MW planning programs. He also provides very good detail on cameras, lenses and equip recommendations.

Outstanding Course!

We had a trip planned where I knew I'd have an opportunity to photograph the Milky Way with the core visible. I wanted to be sure I was prepared. Everything I learned here made it possible for me to photograph it in a way I never dreamed possible. The apps he recommends are indispensable, his teaching methods are outstanding! I can't recommend it enough!

Picked up more than a few things!

Was able to really get to know my Polaris and picked up a few tricks to get better at panoramas. Thanks Dan! I will be coming back to the course often to keep picking up tips.

Ready to start...

Well, I passed this courses in the last view months to prepare a visit in the death valley this summer. The course it self helps me to prepare my self, my equipment, to close some gaps and to get the knowledge how use this stuff. When I come back with the results I will start in the photo editing part and will write some more details, too.
